Why write all this?

I’ve wanted to write for a long time. Twitter is great, but a lot of my posts end up slightly pretentious or performative, optimizing for emotion/ virality/ followers/ some other metric (I’m human). Meanwhile, some of my best thoughts quietly die at 2 likes, which feel unfair to the idea and to me.

I want Twitter to feel more like a reflection of my actual life: work, small wins, lighter thoughts (also don’t want to randomly subject my followers to a non-consensual deep dive into my inner Socrates lol)

Substack is great too, but I think it can hit the same wall (metrics)

So here we are.

Welcome to my working canvas. This is where I’ll keep my work-in-progress ideas, things I suck at, what I’m learning, a few predictions, my cope with AI eating parts of my job, and everything in between.

I’ll try to keep it compressed, because I respect your time. (also: fuck you, short-form media)
